May 2020,
It is with much sadness that we share with you the passing of our dear friend Ann Scott. Many of you knew Ann through her many years as Director of PLAN Adoption. As the mother of 18 children (16 of whom were adopted) Ann was very passionate about helping children find forever families. Ann had the same commitment to our work in Liberia and she considered it a privilege to help needy children. As a board member she was the one who always said, “You can’t out give God.” Ann was an inspiration to all of us. She will be greatly missed.
The school is closed and probably will be for the remainder of this school year. We continue to pay our teachers and staff as they are dependent upon their salaries to take care of their families. We allocated $1,000 to purchase rice for families in need and Matthew (our administrator) distributed the food. Added help may be needed. Virginia, has returned home to the U.S. ; we hope to share some of her story in a later newsletter.
During this challenging time we are very thankful for all of you who continue to give to our school. Your generosity is much appreciated.

Plan for the Children Humanitarian Aid (PCHA) is an organization committed to providing free education to impoverished children in Liberia. Our hope is to give them a better today and hope for a brighter tomorrow through education and giving the tangible expression of God’s love.
Putting faith into action is the core conviction and motivation for PCHA. Jesus Christ calls us to care for one another and our love must not be in words only. His word says true religion is caring for the orphan and the widow (James 1:27). When we give to the ‘least of these’ we are giving to HIM (Matt 25:40).
We give in response to human need without seeking a return. God can then magnify our efforts. With your partnership we can give a helping hand to those who desperately need us.
Please look through our site, read about our projects and prayerfully consider coming along side a child to provide an education, a meal and a clean facility for them to grow and prosper in.
So little from us can mean so much to them!
